So did something out of my comfort zone and bought a car from somewhere other than a main dealer. Was no need to worry, the guys at Atlas are great. Dealt with Curt initially over the phone, he was super helpful, and then Phil when I popped down to see the car . Absolutely no pressure, relaxed test drive, honest appraisal of my part exchange motor, better than expected valuation (don’t tell Garner). Did the deal, Phil handled the paperwork and we agreed a time and date to pick up my new car. Arrived a bit early had a coffee and dealt with the owner Garner, a true Gentleman, My car came around the corner looking a million dollars, so well presented. Faultless 80 mile drive home, and has been superb so far. I know I’ve only had it a few days, but feel confident that if I do have any problems the team at Atlas would be all over it. Having scoured the country for a Mercedes CLK 350 for weeks and test driving a few very tired examples, I was pleasantly surprised to find one only five miles from home. Slightly more money than the other two, but worlds apart condition wise.
In stunning condition, (and no Bull S#~* from the sales guy – Garner), a friend and I took it for a spin.
We took the “Take as long as you like” literally, and set off for nearly an hour.
Fabulous car. Picked it up on Saturday and did a five hundred mile, two day trip for a family Christening.
Silky smooth transaction for a silky smooth car. Better MPG than expected as well.
Big thanks to Garner and Phil for getting things sorted so quickly.
5 Star service. Would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a professional company that does things properly.
